So when God says that something is impossible, what do humans do? They go and prove that thing isn’t impossible. Maybe challenging impossibility is the defining trait of a human. If we ask mother nature on how well an animal with no notable natural defenses would do in the world. She would never have answered that humans with their only real asset of their brain would one day dominate Earth, with the power to even destroy all life on it.
Perhaps it is not the brain that is the true asset of humans. It could be that the undying will to challenge the boundaries of reality is truly what has brought Homo sapiens from a mere primate to the technological masterminds of today.
Maybe one day humans will challenge the authority of God himself and become the impossibility we regard as God. Or maybe humans will destroy themselves through their arrogance before that. Either way, the future holds many unseens, unknowns and impossbilities waiting for humans to witness, understand and conquer.

Type B’s strength is also their weakness – straight talk.
Even if everyone thinks the same, B just has to say it out aloud.

We all know that ninja turtles live in the sewerage system…what’s so special about this comic?…>_<…lol. This is really interesting actually, I always think that I view the world in a different manner to most others. To be honest, I rarely dream at night…I don’t know why….but I just don’t dream…apparently I sleep talk though….weird…hehe. But the tradeoff is that I always dream in the daytime, it’s not really dreaming but rather trying to predict how future events would turn out.
The other thing is that I really like the fantasy genre, swords and magic! Even though I have a strong science background and I know that guns are more efficient at killing than swords and that the closest thing to a fireball spell is probably a nuclear bomb…any decent fantasy story would still get me addicted. Now the best mix in the fantasy genre would be a solid party of adventurers going through plenty of epic fights with odds stacked against the protagonists, always give enough comic relieve and a dash of romance. Why that mix?….well that’s probably how I see people live….working towards something no matter what stands in the way, having friends that can be relied upon even if they are different to you, able to have fun and laugh about experiences and finally being able to truly love and be loved in return. Oh and how can I forget…all good stories need a happily ever after ending! I know lots of people say that ‘happily ever afters’ are not realistic. But it’s a story, you want to feel good after finishing it. If you really want realism…I suggest go mourn your sad life.
Used to read a lot…but have gotten lazier…so now I just watch…>_<. Pity there isn’t a lot of fantasy adaptions in the western world…barring Lord of the Rings movies. So nowadays it’s a lot of anime for me….hehe. However I do want to mention some really good books here, well worth the read.

Lol, epic win sentence at the end there…I’ve had experiences like this before…when people are hypocritical. Then again guess everybody would have had similar experiences. But the point here is that AB likes to be more independent than others. Personally I really hate mob mentality because it means if the mob is stupid, you are going to be stupid too. I like the verify things myself, never really taking someone’s word for things.

But on the bright side…..I’ve got something better for you…
These are in Chinese so I’ll do a translation:

Type A likes the area around a wall.

Type O likes to walk around the entire area.
Type AB likes the corner area.

OK being an AB, I can so imagine myself in that corner…lol..”my corner, you go away!” Despite it being quite sad, this comic gets a tick from me for accuracy…=P Not sure what the other blood types would say to it…..
To know the unknown
“Just because you don’t know, doesn’t mean you can’t know.”
Sometimes you wake up in the morning and you think to yourself: “Why am I getting up today? What am I getting up for?” The answer for me is always the same: “I don’t know”.
That might be a weird way to live, getting up each day not knowing what your purpose is. But if you think about it, the drive is curiousity. Even if you don’t know what you live for but you believe you have a purpose and because you want to find that purpose, you get up everyday. It does require a fair bit of faith though…=P
Maybe in the future, I’ll know what I don’t know now. And maybe I’ll wake up everyday with the same meaningful answer. For now though, I’ll settle with the unknown.

Lazy Courier
“We deliver if and only if you come to collect.”
So this morning I got woken up by a random call on my mobile. Apparently it was the courier for one of the textbooks I ordered. Enjoy this dialog:
Me: Hello
Courier: I have a package for you. Do you have time to pick it up, today.
Me: Huh? What is it?
Courier: Something from overseas educational books company.
Me: Ah right, so are you here now?
Courier: No I am not there yet.
Me: You have my address right?
Courier: Yes, but it’s too far to go to your dorm. What time do you have free today?
Me: Err…I won’t be available til class finishes after 5pm.
Courier: Ok, meet outside the east gate about 5pm then. I’ll contact you between 5-6pm.
Me: Ok
Was still sleeping when I had this convo, so umm….but that’s the main idea. This courier doesn’t deliver to the dorm because it’s too far? WTF, next will be “Sorry this package is too heavy for me to carry, come to collect it from the depot.” Well shifty Chinese courier ftl.
So been the nice person that I am, I made this 25min trek to the main gate. This dude’s there with his bicycle, he has a bike damnit, and gives me my package. The package is rather thin for a book…so open it and guess what’s inside? It’s the freakin receipt for the books I bought…T_T. I just felt so stupid at that moment, basically I walked across the uni to fetch a piece of useless paper that this courier dude with a bike can’t be bothered to deliver to my dorm? Epic GG, felt like rage quiting big time.
But thankfully there was a kfc near the main gate, felt much better after dinner. (Almost wanted to title this one “KFC does wonders too…=P) Took a stroll around the surrounding area and eventually wandered back into the dorm.

Ok normally I wouldn’t write about anime, there are already way too many of those blogs out there. But sometimes, something that someone does or says almost resonates with some core values and beliefs you have.

To see your willpower, to be able to sense your own determination. Even if it meant you have to give up part of yourself, even if it meant you have to smile all the time and not cry when you want to cry. To be prepared with the resolve to endure all pains & hardships your chosen path brings. If someone else can also see your will, it would be the most precious gift ever. But even if no-one does, you are not ever going to give up.
But in the end you are still going to cry because perfection is impossible to achieve. However after you have cried, you can feel a part of you – a part that you thought you had left behind long ago. Even if it was sealed, it was always there and you realise you can draw comfort from it again whenever there’s a need.

Toradora’s a good anime in the emotional/romance/comedy categories, I recommend watching it. It’s only 25 eps with the last ep coming out next week. Whilst on this topic, Clannad & Clannad After Story is another amazing anime series, that you’d have to watch. And I should stop before I get into a long list of obscure shounen anime that no-one cares about….=P
